QuickCAD Essentials Course

A course intended for newcomers to QuickCAD,
covering the fundamental commands and facilities
of two-dimensional drafting, including:

• The elements of an QuickCAD system
• Basic drawing entities
• Simple editing
• Layers, Linetypes, Colours & object Properties
• Complex objects
• Multiple entity commands
• Symbol creation and use
• Text and Dimensioning, including editing
• Principles of scale
• Plotting, including line weights
• Sharing drawings with other software, including AutoCAD

A pace is maintained which will accommodate absolute
beginners, or those with some previous experience of CAD.

Exercises to suit the trainee's drafting field and level of
experience will be provided.

Upon completion of the course, trainees can expect to be able
to produce straightforward two-dimensional QuickCAD drawings
and plot to scale.
