AutoCAD LT in 3D Course

Although primarily intended for 2D drafting, AutoCAD LT of itself offers some
very useful tools for creating three-dimensional models. With the LT3D add-on
package, these capabilties expand to include surface and solids modelling.

LT's 3D modelling, viewing and shading commands are covered, together with
the LT3D enhancements. "Hidden" techniques in LT are revealed.

This course includes:

• Basic wire-frame and surface modelling
• User Co-ordinate Systems
• Viewports and Viewpoint
• Dynamic View and perspective
• Model Space and Paper Space
• Solids Modelling and editing
• Shading of 3D models and output

Applicants will need to have completed the AutoCAD LT Essentials course or
have considerable familiarity and experience with AutoCAD LT.

Upon completion of the course, trainees can expect to be able to produce 3D
AutoCAD models and view and plot them in a number of simultaneous views.
