AutoCAD LT Essentials Course

A course intended both for newcomers to AutoCAD LT,
and for those with some knowledge of the software.

The fundamental commands and facilities of
two-dimensional drafting are covered, including:

• The elements of an AutoCAD LT system
• Basic drawing objects
• Simple editing
• Layers, Linetypes, Colours & object Properties
• Complex objects
• Multiple entity commands
• Symbol creation and use
• Text and Dimensioning, including editing
• Principles of scale
• Plotting, including line weights

A pace is maintained which will accommodate absolute
beginners, or those with some previous experience of CAD.

Exercises to suit the trainee's drafting field and level of
experience will be provided.

Upon completion of the course, trainees can expect to be able
to produce straightforward two-dimensional AutoCAD LT drawings
and plot to scale.
