AutoCAD Customisation Course

AutoCAD Customisation is intended for AutoCAD users of some
experience who wish to optimise their own AutoCAD system and
for System Controllers who organise a number of AutoCAD
workstations.

Topics will include:

• Prototype Drawing
• System configuration
• Custom screen, pulldown and tablet menus
• Construction and use of Slide Libraries
• Creating and using Icon menus
• Toolboxes and buttons
• Use of DIESEL
• Linetype and Hatch Pattern definition
• Simple AutoLisp and DCL programming

All topics other than the last have application to AutoCAD LT.

Applicants for this course will need to have a good knowledge
of AutoCAD and the ability to use a text editor in the preparation
of ASCII files.

Upon completion of the AutoCAD Customisation course, trainees
can expect to be able to produce custom menus, linetypes and
hatch patterns, or to modify existing ones. They should also be
capable of preparing and mainitaining a complete custom AutoCAD
environment for individual use or for use by a group.
