Advanced AutoCAD Course

The syllabus follows from that of the Work Skills course,
to provide further training in two-dimensional drafting and
AutoCAD system management.

Topics will include:

• Revision of basic AutoCAD commands
• Basic customisation
• Block attributes & data scheduling
• Editing with Grips
• Views and Viewports
• Paper Space and Model Space
• Externally referenced files
• Manipulation of system variables
• Dimensioning styles
• System configuration
• User configuration
• Conversion of data to and from AutoCAD

Applicants for this course will need to have completed either the
Work Skills course or have good knowledge and experience of
AutoCAD. The course is ideally suited to trainees who have
used AutoCAD consistently for some time.

Upon completion, trainees can expect to have a thorough knowledge
of 2D AutoCAD.
