AutoCAD 2006 Update

This Quick Shot course is intended for experienced AutoCAD
users who have upgraded from AutoCAD 2004 or 2005 or who are
contemplating such an upgrade and wish to experience the
AutoCAD 2006 features in depth.

Topics can include:

• Command entry enhancements
• New editing tools
• Hatching
• Display improvements
• Object Selection
• Multiline Text enhancements
• Dimension styles and features
• Attribute Extraction to Tables
• Table calculations
• QuickCalc mathematical calculator
• Customising Buttons and Menus
• Creating, using and editing Dynamic Blocks

Applicants to this course should be experienced in the use of
AutoCAD 2005. Users of previous versions should experience
no great difficulty, but there may be gaps between these versions
and 2006 which will not necessarily be covered in the course.

Upon completion of the course, trainees can expect to have a good
working knowledge of the principal AutoCAD 2006 enhancements
and new tools, and the application of these features in
the execution of 2D drawings..
